Claire’s house was absolutely spotless and so very well equipped - it was a beautiful home-from-home in stunning rural surroundings. My little family had the perfect stay - many thanks!

Very comfortable, cosy house. Very close to great walks, without having to get in the car. 'The Green' at Bollington was a great restaurant. Claire was a proactive and friendly host. I would recommend this house, especially to those who enjoy walking.

Lovely cosy cottage, perfect location for walks and public footpath right behind the property.

Good location in the centre of Tideswell. Secure front garden - no back garden.
Small kitchen with not much worktop, but all equipment available.
Head height in the shower is very low.
Spacious bedrooms.

A beautiful property - light and bright, clean and comfortable! We couldn't have asked for better - ideal for my elderly mother-in-law as it was all on one level - and super dog friendly - ideal for our elderly Jack Russell!

Claire was very helpful with a couple of queries that we had about the local area. We will definitely stay again when we come back to the area.

Highly recommended - spacious and comfortable for 7 guests and 2 dogs, private green space was perfect for our dogs. Great amenities including a dishwasher and nespresso machine. We would love to return again!

Absolutely gorgeous place set in beautiful private gated grounds. Used it as a base to play some of the fantastic local golf courses. spotlessly clean, very cute and immaculate. would highly recommend. Easy 5 stars 🌟

Amazing place to stay! Has a private drive to the hall, with a few other cottages on the site. Good distance from Wilmslow and Stockport. And the host was quick to respond with other place that are a must visit! Would definitely recommend. X

We had a great break at Chimney Potts Cottage. It was so well equipped, clean and in a great location. The dogs loved it too, with treats being left for them as well as us. The Horse & Jockey right over the road had a great atmosphere and lovely food. Bakewell 17 mins away. Lovely walks in the area. Tideswell Lounge do a great breakfast and a lovely latte. Claire was very responsive and was in contact before and during the break. Hope to revisit either this cottage or one of their others. Thank you so much.

Perfect little cottage stay in lovely grounds. So many nice touches and the hosts really have thought of everything facilities and comfort-wise. As Claire says in her description, a car is essential to see the local area as outside of the grounds is a busy road so not much in walking distance. That was no problem for us though as the walks around the grounds were great for our dogs.

This is a super property: cosy, comfortable beds, soft towels, warm with plenty of hot water, exceptionally clean, lovely living space, great boot and drying room for wet walking gear and amazing location for walks.

Stylish and extremely comfortable cottage . Beautiful location . Clare was very helpful and responsive. We had a lovely time and would highly recommend. We would definitely love to come back .

Absolutely loved our stay! Claire could not have done more to improve our stay. The EV charger was a massive bonus for us.

Just a beautiful building in a lovely location. It is a busy junction and the cars are quite noisy when you are in the bedroom but that can’t be helped. Everything has been done to a high standard. Sadly the log burner was out of action for our visit but otherwise we loved our stay. Perfect location for walks, cycling and Mottram Hall. Lots of great pubs in the village too.

This place is amazing. We relished our stay and did not want to leave. It’s cosy, comfy and the extra touches like dog bowl, treats and towels for our boy were very thoughtful . Linen, abundance of towels and furnishing are very high quality and luxurious. A lot of love and consideration has gone into making this place a true home from home. Thank you!!

We had a fabulous stay at Claire’s place. It was just perfect for what we needed to visit family nearby. Claire has put a lot of effort and thought into the property, such as a welcome gift and thoughtful touches, which are very much appreciated. Lovely dog friendly touches too, thank you.

Pros: Great location, responsive host which was most helpful, comfy bed, well stocked kitchen. Cons: The TV doesn't work well, smells quite damp and the skirtings & taps could do with a deep clean.
But overall a nice stay!

Was a great stay! massive field for the dog to do zoomies, a nice walk through the woods on the property too, house was nice, bed is a bit small though for a double (maybe we're just too big aha!) very cozy and comfortable.
