Great stay, had everything we needed, Claire was very accommodating with our requests and quick to reply. The Mews had everything in it that we required.Great location for us, the grounds were amazing.

A huge thanks 🙏🏽 to Claire who was always responsive both leading up to and during our stay. My siblings I wanted to treat our mum to a couple of nights away, a break much needed from the hustle and bustle of life’s daily demands. Claire’s place was perfect for what we required. The property is set in beautiful surroundings which quite literally take your breath away upon entering the drive way, stunning. The woodland area offers a lovely place to walk and talk in peaceful surroundings. We very much enjoyed chatting to Derrick too who was watering the homegrown vegetables 🥰. Mum can’t wait to revisit, she heavily hinted she wants to make it a regular base for our family catch ups 😊

We stayed here for 4 weeks during renovations. Claire was very kind and hospitable and the gardens were beautiful.

A great place for a stop over. Private , and peaceful. Gardens stunning and our dog liked his evening stroll. Nice to relax last night in the cottage and watch TV/ Netflix. Thank you for having us!!.

Very well stocked kitchen which was great as many Airbnb's fail on this. Loved the 6pm check out on a Sunday. We made plans around this and it made our trip wonderful. Mortified that my partner accidentally packed her dog towel so very sorry about that! The flush on bith toilets got stuck and the water continued to flush until button wobbled so maybe have a look at replacing. Standard of house was fantastic. Really lovely stay thanks

The property itself was nice and the check-in process was lovely and simple. Because Sunday check-ins weren't possible, we had to book an extra night to make the trip work—which was fair enough, but it did make the issues we faced a bit more of a letdown.​It wasn't as private as we expected, and we were located quite close to other people. This wasn't ideal as the main reason I booked was to have a secluded space for the dogs to run around freely. There was also a children's birthday party next door during our stay; while it obviously couldn't be helped, it did mean we had to listen to noise all day. On top of that, the dogs unfortunately ended up catching fleas from the property grounds.​While the hospitality and check-in were great, the lack of privacy, noise, and the flea issue mean it just wasn't the right fit for us, and we wouldn't rebook.

The photo’s in the listing need to be updated to show that there is no privacy curtain in the bedroom/ensuite, when we questioned this Claire said she would order and drop off a privacy screen, this never eventuated. The supplied instruction manual for the washing machine needs to be for the correct model.We found the house to be not very clean, dog hairs on the cushions and bread crumbs in the toaster.

It was a pleasure to stay in south cottage.. it was a lovely warm week and to sit out in the evenings with dinner and an evening drink felt so relaxing.. the set up with the washing facilities was excellent and whilst the property is completely private it felt the place had a nice friendly atmosphere with family around and about if needed and was even offered some of the fresh produce they grow. 😀💕…. We loved our stay and whilst only a couple the bedroom bathroom set up at either end of the property was perfect for 2 couples even.. thank you for a relaxing time.

An amazing place to stay. Really spacious living area, well equipped, clean, and perfect for a family of 6 for the weekend. Lovely garden and surroundings. Claire was the perfect host, friendly and very responsive to messages, great with recommendations, and her parents were lovely to meet too! Would love to go back and stay here again one day.

Fantastic stay! Host is super responsive. Property is comfortable and set on a beautiful estate. Plenty of parking and everything you need. We would love to stay there again if we are in the area. 100 percent recommend!

This Airbnb is wonderful. We have stayed here 4 to 5 times now the house. Claire is wonderful very accommodating for our two dogs. The property is in prime location in the village able to go for wonderful walks lovely breakfast and the community is wonderful. The kitchen is fabulous has an auger so we were able to have wonderful dining in. Claire is a fabulous host always able to let us know and communicate fantastic we will definitely stay here again and would recommend it to anybody that wants to explore Prestbury village ❤️

What a lovely find.! So dog friendly & lovely gardens & wooded area to walk the dogs! A really good kitchen, enabling me to eat in each night. Wonderful suggestions for walks in local area. We had lovely walks in Macclesfield Forest & a local reservoir. The Teggs Nose Country park was amazing! A brilliant cafe, with dog sausages! 😂😁🐾

We loved our stay at The Horners. As soon as we walked in we felt at home. It was super comfortable and relaxing. A haven to return to after a day out helping family. The bed was so comfortable we both had a good night's sleep. We'd love to stay again next time we are in the area.

Claire was very communicative, friendly and helpful. The house is in a beautiful setting and well equipped. Great balcony for breakfast in the sun!

It was a last minute booking and was so happy with found this little gem! The grounds are beautiful, our 2 dogs loved their little walks around the little Forrest area! The cottage was lovely, everything as described! Would highly recommend!

Spotlessly clean, lovely green setting with outdoor space and parking, well equipped and comfortable beds.

Lovely cottage with plenty of space, in a tranquil estate-type setting. We appreciated the outdoor seating and pretty views from the living area.

If you remember *A Place in the Sun*… picture that vibe, just without the sun because, well… UK weather 😂 Honestly, that’s the only thing missing! Maybe a vinyl record player too that would’ve been the perfect finishing touch.Claire, the host, was so lovely, friendly, welcoming, and easy to chat to. She even left a cute little guidebook on the table for newcomers, which was such a thoughtful detail.Price-wise, it’s similar to a Premier Inn, making it a total no-brainer. It’s perfect for families. You can cook, relax, and still keep an eye on the kids playing outside. Super convenient and stress-free.We were in town for a weekend wedding, and I actually left half the family at the Premier Inn to stay here and I have no regrets at all! When they visited, I could tell they were a little jealous.Everything was provided—towels, cooking gear, all the essentials. Only suggestion: a guide to local spots for fresh milk and dairy would be a lovely extra touch.

This was the perfect place for our short break. Lovely private location in nice surroundings. Amenities all good, felt comfortable here.

We stayed for 3 nights in this beautiful house. Car park right next to the house. Comfy lounge and massive kitchen.

Amazing place, we had a lovely Saturday night in with the dog. Bathroom towels are really good quality and the milk in the fridge was a life saver. Would definitely stay here again it’s a really beautiful place.

Lovely stay at North Cottage. Excellent location for exploring nearby Peak District and access to local shops. Comfy bed and well equipped kitchen if you want to cook. Clear instructions from the host which make check in/out easy.

2nd time at the Horners. In the middle of Prestbury. So convenient. Coop next door and floodlit churchyard for last dog walk at night. Will be back again.

Amazing place to stay for group of friends or family. It was 6 of us staying for a long weekend, had the best time. All necessary amenities are included in beautifully decorated and maintained estate. Host was lovely and responsive. Located at quite feasible distance from famous trails and hikes of peak district. Highly recommend for fun and joyful group stays.
