Had a great stay at Claire’s, we used it as our base for a Hen Do and it was very beautiful through and through. Easy to drive up to Manchester too.

what a fantastic find this was!
perfect if you have a dog, lovely walk around the grounds and in the woods. Our Dog absolutely loved sniffing around it.
north cottage felt secluded from the rest of the house and was nice and peaceful.
place was very clean and had everything you needed.
Great walks few minutes drive away.... we did Macclesfield canal loop, it was beautiful.
Great communication from hosts, thanks again for having us.
will definitely be back.

Lovely house, beautiful rooms and stunning wooden beams all through out the house. Plenty of restaurants near by and a co-op right next door. Amazing long walks through fields just minutes away.

This space is far greater in space than the photos hint at, despite being on the high street it always feels private and is remarkably quiet - we had a fair going on beneath us and it didn’t interrupt our experience

My son and I had to attend a family funeral in the area and Claires place looked perfect for us as we needed to bring our dogs too. Claire was quick at responding when I wanted to check she was okay with the dogs and our situation and she was super lovely and made everything so easy to book. I would highly recommend Claires place for anyone considering. The accommodation was beautiful inside and out. My son said upon entering 'wow it smells amazing and look they even have lovely art on the walls'. Gorgeous grounds for walking the dogs too. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be booking again when we next come up to the area. Thanks Claire x

The bungalow was lovely. Very quiet despite being close to the railway. The grounds are superb. Beautiful meadow flower gardens and lovely woods to walk in.

The cottage is set in stunning grounds with a lovely woodland walk. This was an emergency booking owing to family problems. We would not normally stay at a dog friendly place as we are both allergic but we’re very pleasantly surprised at the levels of cleanliness which meant this wasn’t a problem. The cottage is very spacious and well equipped.

Lovely, private location with beautiful grounds. The property has character, with a modern feel and spotlessly clean. I was travelling with a uni friend and felt immediately at home and relaxed. Found a wonderful bar/restaurant - Suburban Green in Wilmslow. There's a sister bar in Macclesfield too. Visited Champneys, Mottram Hall one day and National Trust, Quarrybank the next. Plenty of walks nearby too. The host, Claire was very nice and gave immediate replies and good directions and local information.

Great place to stay. Well serviced with extra things that are so helpful, such as tea, coffee, milk, sugar, sparkling water (my fave brand too!), biscuits. Abundance of excellent towels. Comfy bed and linen. Dog friendly with treats, bowls and dog towels. My fox terrier loved being made to feel welcome xx

Traditional olde world type dwelling. Contemporary but still traditional interior. Very central in pretty village, all amenities close by.

Exactly what we needed - a quiet bolt hole in which to relax after the long journey to/from Manchester and the south. This meant that our dog was welcome too! Lovely grounds. Super clean and comfortable cottage with thoughtful touches so that you could relax immediately.

We’ve had a lovely two night break at North Cottage, the place is amazing, spotless, has everything you need and a great location. We did a local walk of around 10 miles that took us around the area and into Poynton which has a nice high street and a few places to eat, I would highly recommend taking a walk around the gardens as there is lots to see!! We will be rebooking to come back again!

Love this place from Clair being clear the picture matching the description to the step by step guide on your journey in to the gate and even before you leave.

Lovely place to stay, spotless, close to Macclesfield where we were meeting with friends. Close to coop for supplies .Nice village to walk around too.

Claire was very friendly & responsive. Gave good detailed instructions on checking in etc.
We were staying here in North Cottage as a stopover after travelling home from Scotland. Arrived finding a snack, some bottled water & milk in the fridge which was a lovely touch. Beautiful grounds & had a lovely walk the next morning with our dog.

The cottage is fine if all you need is a place to lay your head. We had a few issues but have raised these separately with the owner.

Outstanding property which suited us perfectly for the night before an early departure from Manchester airport, it being only 20 minutes away. Thank you Claire.

We booked to stay here for 2 nights while visiting friends in Cheshire. We have two small dogs (one being a puppy) so we were looking for somewhere dog friendly and an appropriate place to leave them while we went out, but also with lovely surroundings and walks to take them on. The apartment was extremely spacious for the dogs, with incredible surroundings - there are plenty of pubs, restaurants and shops right next to the apartment an also a Co-op close by. The scenery is beautiful, with plenty of walks right on your doorstep. The parking is ideal as it is right outside the entrance to the apartment and check-in was so easy. Claire is a great host, very responsive and helpful. We would most definitely recommend staying here and will certainly be back in the future. Thank you 🙂

Claire was the most amazing host, for the most amazing property.
We hired the Mews and then North and South Cottage too for my wedding accommodation - all three were absolutely amazing!
The properties were spotless, modern, comfortable and the hosts were so friendly and kind. I would highly recommend this listing and any others that Claire looks after too. She elevated the property even more with her amazing customer service and prompt replies!

The property was in an excellent location and we felt at home right away. It was clean and well looked after.

Not the first time I’ve stayed here but the photos really don’t do it justice. Gorgeous place and so well kitted out. Really comfortable which is why I’ve kept coming back!
