If you remember *A Place in the Sun*… picture that vibe, just without the sun because, well… UK weather 😂 Honestly, that’s the only thing missing! Maybe a vinyl record player too that would’ve been the perfect finishing touch.Claire, the host, was so lovely, friendly, welcoming, and easy to chat to. She even left a cute little guidebook on the table for newcomers, which was such a thoughtful detail.Price-wise, it’s similar to a Premier Inn, making it a total no-brainer. It’s perfect for families. You can cook, relax, and still keep an eye on the kids playing outside. Super convenient and stress-free.We were in town for a weekend wedding, and I actually left half the family at the Premier Inn to stay here and I have no regrets at all! When they visited, I could tell they were a little jealous.Everything was provided—towels, cooking gear, all the essentials. Only suggestion: a guide to local spots for fresh milk and dairy would be a lovely extra touch.

This was the perfect place for our short break. Lovely private location in nice surroundings. Amenities all good, felt comfortable here.

We stayed for 3 nights in this beautiful house. Car park right next to the house. Comfy lounge and massive kitchen.

Amazing place, we had a lovely Saturday night in with the dog. Bathroom towels are really good quality and the milk in the fridge was a life saver. Would definitely stay here again it’s a really beautiful place.

Lovely stay at North Cottage. Excellent location for exploring nearby Peak District and access to local shops. Comfy bed and well equipped kitchen if you want to cook. Clear instructions from the host which make check in/out easy.

2nd time at the Horners. In the middle of Prestbury. So convenient. Coop next door and floodlit churchyard for last dog walk at night. Will be back again.

Amazing place to stay for group of friends or family. It was 6 of us staying for a long weekend, had the best time. All necessary amenities are included in beautifully decorated and maintained estate. Host was lovely and responsive. Located at quite feasible distance from famous trails and hikes of peak district. Highly recommend for fun and joyful group stays.

A convenient location but going through the grand gates felt like entering another world. Beautiful lawns, gardens and forest and really peaceful. A great place to unwind...wish we had stayed longer! Super hosts, happy to help and friendly

We had a very comfortable night at Claire’s Airbnb. The environment is beautiful, and North House cottage was tucked away in the corner, so was very private. Lovely wooded area to walk out dog in too.

Highly recommend the accommodation and host. The accommodation exceeded our expectations and we had a fabulous stay. Would definitely visit again if holidaying in the area.

We stayed for 3 nights at South Cottage and it really is a lovely place. The setting and surroundings, grounds and woodland area, are very nice despite the weather we had! The cottage is very well equipped and comfortable, nice, clean and cosy to return to at the end of the day. Bowls and treats for our dog and a handy hose for rinsing muddy paws. I would definitely recommend and hope to stay again soon.

We had a lovely tranquil stay here, North Cottage is a lovely little place, it was even just about big enough for us, my daughter, and three dogs. We had a little weekend where we planned to do nothing. The grounds were enough to walk the dogs, and we went up to Tegg's Point too (lovely cafe!)Thanks for a lovely weekend!

A very beautiful Airbnb for those who are wanting peace and country walks. Had milk waiting for us so we could make a cuppa on arrival which was lovely!! Claire was very responsive with any queries.

Claire’s place is really well located for access to the Peak District and the lovely little towns around Macclesfield and the area. Myself and my boyfriend had arrived from different locations so the location was also perfect from Manchester Airport, only 17 mins in a taxi 🙂 Claire’s place was spotless and had everything we could need!

The house was immaculate and had everything we needed. Claire was so helpful and responded to every query within seconds! beautifully decorated and spacious. EV car charging at am extra small fee was very helpful too. the grounds outside was fabulous for the dogs, literally on the doorstep! I would definitely reccomend and hopefully be able to say again int he future. This is just what I needed at 31 weeks pregnant! thank you ❤️

Myself and a few friends had a wonderful few days away over New Year and Claire’s place couldn’t have been better! It’s such a gorgeous property, with a lovely open area for socialising and it was a great location for walks on 1st and 2nd Jan for us! Claire was very responsive to any messages and instructions regarding entering the property were really clear. We’ll definitely keep Claire and this property in mind for future trips!

We loved our stay here. Clean, warm, cosy and with a pretty garden. It was a good distance for going to the Man Utd game, whilst also a good location for trips into the Peak District.

Lovely stay near the Peak District. Short 5-10min drive to many restaurants, shops and pubs some even closer (Toby cavery & starbucks etc) but set in a private location so you feel secluded. We stayed in the north cottage and felt like we had our own private space. The roads to the Airbnb are good so suit any driver ability. Stayed with Oz our little spaniel and just brought blankets for the couch incase he jumped up. Host was very responsive answered in minutes if we had any questions. Spent a few days exploring the Peak District from the Airbnb which was in an ideal location to do so right on the edge of the Peak District. Clean and modern facilities (cooker, hob etc) Thanks for a lovely stay.

We had a wonderful stay! The cottage is spacious, has many amenities and is in a beautiful location. Would definitely stay again!

This was our second visit to the North Cottage and ticked all the boxes for us. Warm, cosy, quiet and close to Poynton. Will look to book again.
