had a lovely overnight stay in north cottage, claire was very helpful and accommodating, the cottage had everything I needed and had some extra little touches for my doggy 🐕 (treats) surroundings were also beautiful

Great stay at North Cottage for 2 nights. Very comfortable and cosy. Lovely garden with wildlife to see. Well placed to get into the north end of the Peak District (about 20 minutes drive to Stanage Edge). Claire was a great host- responded to any messages more or less instantly. We were made to feel very welcome.

We had a wonderful 3-night stay and we will certainly book another stay when we get chance. The property was very spacious and attractively furnished. The Wi-Fi was excellent and totally reliable. Even the facilities available on the Smart TV exceeded anything we’ve come across before. The large grassed area immediately in front of the cottage was absolutely ideal for us to exercise our dogs. I could go on, but suffice to say it ranks with the very best self-catering accommodation we’ve ever stayed in. On top of this, Claire is very friendly, helpful and professional. Highly recommended!

Great stay. Good location and accommodated suited us with small children and dogs. It’s a great layout.

This was a very comfortable stay for 5 adults attending a nearby wedding. The house is very nice and the surrounding area is pretty. We didn't have any issues and I would definitely recommend!

A fantastic place with lots of space and really comfy. Made to feel very welcome. In a brilliant location, plenty around if you need it but quiet enough to relax too.

We stayed in the South cottage with a lovely sunny terrace area with outside seating. Private parking space available.
Inside was clean, well equipped with some nice touches we weren't expecting. (Milk, coffee machine, snacks). Central heating worked and the shower was hot, excellent all round. Thanks.

First rate property, everything provided for a comfortable, warm, relaxing stay. We would love to have stayed longer, it is such a lovely house, beautifully appointed and thought through. We very much hope to come back!

10/10 air bnb experience. Straight forward easy check in. Very homely environment with plenty of amenities (even dog treats for our dog which I thought was a very thoughtful touch). Very good host, saw once at check in to explain a few things and didn’t see again but was easily reachable if we needed assistance. Couldn’t recommend this place enough for Peak District walking holidays or something close to Manchester with a more rustic country side feel to it.
Plenty of restaurants, pubs and shops all within driving (or walking depends who you are) distance of a matter of minutes.
Thank you Claire, if we’re ever back up in the peaks we know where we’ll be staying.

Very country people, so staying in an apartment was very new but loved it instantly.
Such a cosy but spacious feeling. We did lots of hikes during our trip here and ‘the Artizana’ was the perfect spot to come back to after a long day out.

Lovely air bnb. Just as described

We had a short break over the half term as we are both teachers. Just needed peace and quiet and lots of walks with our dog to unwind. We got it at North Cottage, Marlfield House and more. North Cottage was lovely and had everything we needed. Thank you Claire and the Team.

A beautiful property so full of character and history. Decorated to a high spec, could have stayed much longer. Flawless. The host was also really responsive when we found we had no heating and sorted it quickly. Thank you. We hope to come again.

This was a wonderful Airbnb in a great location. Just be aware that there are two places called Cheadle, one in Cheshire and one in Staffs. Completely. Our mistake, but it did give us a lovely one hour drive each time we visited my partner‘s family. There is nothing to fault about the Airbnb, dog friendly, simple and stylishly decorated and equipped. Having coffee pods, and everything else you need to get up in the mornings was wonderful. The owners have clearly really thought about what travellers need and have made a simple place stylish and comfortable. The location is gorgeous and it was a pleasure to sit outside in the mornings and have a coffee and enjoy the fresh air. Our only issue, and it is a tiny one, was when we tried to toast tea cakes, and the toaster sat off the fire alarm. The fire alarm is automated and so the fire trucks were on the way before we could do anything. However, that’s not a complaint, just a thing for people to be aware of when using the toaster. 10/10.

Only stayed one night but the apartment was very nice and homely. Would definitely stay again and have already recommended to friends. Like the little additional touches like milk in the fridge and dog treats. Great place with everything you need for your stay.

Awesome place to stay with everything you need

really lovely spacious first floor apartment. massive living room with 2 comfortable settees and big TV. we took our 2 dogs and were able to let them run down the steps to a small enclosed area which was gated off. there was 4 dog friendly pubs close by, the furthest a 5 minutes walk, with a park area opposite that and a churchyard closer two minutes away to walk the dogs around. nice to have 2 toilets and a separate work station room to store your luggage in. also 2 bottles of milk and snacks were appreciated. £140 for 2 nights with 1pm check in and 6pm checkout with a parking space was a top bargain even more so for such a well furnished modern apartment. 5/5.
