Claire was a great host nothing was too much trouble

We stayed for the weekend as 3 couples, this was a brilliant place and we've already talked about making it an annual thing.
Lovely space in the front door to take off shoes and wipe down the dogs. Plenty of parking which is close to the front door.
4 bedrooms, all perfectly equipped and comfortable (we drew for the best room!) Plus 3 bathrooms.
Beautiful views and we loved the gardens.
Host couldn't have been better.
Area was great for walks and food!
Communal area was great, very well equipped and clean kitchen, comfortable sofas, a good TV with netflix, a nice big dining table. Even christmas decorations!

Consideration for those (like me) who are light sleepers - train line is very close and it's not very loud but we were certainly aware when one passed. And you could hear anyone walking in the top bedroom, woke us up when our friends woke up earlier than us. Take some earplugs and you’ll be fine!

Bryan, Monty and myself had a great stay away at Claire‘s. The grounds were perfect when you bring a dog. The accommodation was lovely and wanted for nothing. I would highly recommend staying at one of Claire’s cottages.

Cosy and comfortable stay. Claire was very helpful with information.
Perfect location and set up for our family.

This is a real gem of a place, 1 room on each floor, Aga in kitchen, beautifully fitted out. Not suitable if you struggle with stairs as the ones down to the semi basement kitchen are quite steep, but I couldn't fault the location, the fixtures etc. the shower in the bedroom is super powerful, as an added bonus. As I am over on work several times a year, I would defiantly look for this place as a first booking option. right in the heart of Prestbury.

This is a return visit for us - this time at South Cottage which was perfect for access for our dogs into the lovely countryside and our visiting parents as no stairs.
The layout of South Cottage is really good with bedrooms and a dedicated bathroom at either end of the living/kitchen area bringing a lot of privacy. Claire very helpful throughout. A great place to stay.

We absolutely loved our stay at North Cottage. It was perfect for my son and I when he was playing in a tournament near by. Clean, modern, well equipped, peaceful location. Just perfect. Lisa

Amazing host! Very quick to reply. We stayed in the south cottage and the mews and they were both lovely.

In the run up, Claire was extremely responsive and helpful. On arrival the house is set in grounds which are truly stunning. The house was spotlessly clean, very classy and comfortable. Shower was blissful. Walking in the private woods was such a treat and we loved the things left for us, such a dog treats. Outstanding value for money as so stylish and cosy. Would definitely stay again and thank you!

Claire was the perfect host, she communicated very well and was always fast to respond. The house was perfect, we had the most fantastic stay and would highly recommend to others, the village was amazing. Thanks Claire, we will definitely be visiting again in the future

A beautiful place to stay, lots of attention to detail to easily make the stay perfect.

Claire was very responsive from initial booking right up until departure, answering any questions in very good time. We had no issues during the stay and everything was as expected.

The grounds were lovely and well kept and despite having less than favourable weather, we still managed to have a lovely sunrise view of the surrounding area which was nice.

We will certainly keep The Mews in mind for any returns to the area as it accommodated everyone very well!

we had such a wonderful stay, the cottage is so quirky, couldn't fault anything, the village is on the doorstep, lovely pubs and restaurants, we'll definitely be back

A beautiful Tudor-style house in a tranquil woodland setting. We had a lovely weekend stay enjoying beautiful dry autumnal weather with the accompanying autumn colours. The rumble of the passing train just added to the wonderful memories of our stay.

A really fantastic place to stay. Beautiful location, beautiful accommodation and all the added little touches…. Tea, coffee, shampoo, shower gel etc. we stayed whilst visiting Cheshire for a family funeral and was perfect. If there was any downside it would be the slight rumble of the trains going by every so often but not a problem at all. We would love to stay again.

Perfect place. Peaceful and cosy. Would certainly recommend.

The cottage was delightful and on a lovely estate. We enjoyed the woodland walk, the cottage had all the amenities we needed and the milk in the fridge on arrival was a lovely touch. Would defiantly recommend. We stayed here for a week as our kitchen was being refurbished, so was a different need than a holiday and worked perfectly for the kids to escape the mess at home!

Such a great place to stay, photos don’t do the space justice. Really big for 2 people. Great to have a tv in the dining room when you’re cooking.

Great location - on the high street lots of lovely restaurants and pubs nearby.

The entire place was amazing, the house, the view 👌🏼

Just home after 4 wonderful and peaceful nights at the North Cottage. Just myself and my dog, I felt very safe and was able to relax fully. Large field/garden to use and also a woodland walk. The property was exactly as described and matched the photos. Extremely clean, comfortable and all the amenities I needed. A must for a break away, you can explore nearby or completely relax in comfort. I will definitely be back!

We had a wonderful stay at Claire’s property to visit family in the area. It was a great central location for our days out.
The property itself is exactly as shown in the photographs set in a beautiful garden area. It had everything we could need.
We changed what time we would be arriving at the last minute and even though this was very late Claire accommodated this with ease.
Great communication.
We will absolutely be back to stay again. Thank you
